Whitby Ribfest!
Mark your calendars for the 2024 Whitby Ribfest, coming to our community on July 12, 13, and 14. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise, the festival gathers friends and family to share delicious food and entertainment.
Bringing Outstanding BBQ to Whitby
Ribfest is best known for one thing - delicious ribs. The festival's organizers searched the U.S. and Canada for award-winning pitmasters and ribs specialists. Our "ribbers" have won awards worldwide and are ready to bring their craft back to Ribfest.
Some of our featured pitmasters include Billy Bones BBQ, Silver Bullet Bar B Q, Camp 31, Bone Daddy, Bibbs BBQ, and Smokehouse Bandits. You can sample a variety of barbecue styles, including Alabama and Texas.
In addition to pork and beef ribs, you will be treated to dozens of other choices, such as chicken, burgers, Mexican food, funnel cakes, fried onions, and donuts.
Fun and Musical Entertainment
The festival will welcome musicians from Ontario and the surrounding area, including The Brock Street Band, Recovery Mode, and Shooter. Local acts help the festival stay family-friendly.
Midway
Enjoy a classic carnival midway at Whitby Ribfest, featuring games, rides, and entertainment for the entire family. Seek adrenaline thrills or try your skill at games of chance.
Kids' Activities
Bring your kids to Ribfest for a fantastic weekend. In addition to the midway, Whitby Ribfest offers a fun kids' area with crafts, balloon animals, story time, photo booths, and games. Thanks to our sponsors, our Kidfest activities are free.
Plan Your Visit
Whitby Ribfest 2024 is a free event at Whitby Victoria Fields, 203-269 Victoria St W, Whitby, ON L1N 0A8. To help keep our neighborhood running smoothly during the festival, use only our official parking lot at GO Transit. Due to high traffic, use care when walking in the area.
The festival hours are 12 pm to 11 pm Friday, July 12th, 11 am to 11 pm Saturday, July 13th, and 11 am to 8 pm Sunday, July 14th.
